In a medium weight class, the 250g cast bar from MünzManufaktur boasts a fineness of 999.9/1000 pure gold. As one of the most popular and traditional gold products, the gold bar has played a central role in the production of MünzManufaktur since the beginning of our operations.

Thanks to our decades of growing expertise—combining proven production methods with the latest processing tools from around the world—we have perfected the art of crafting and working with gold bars over time. Tailored precisely to the various demands gold presents as a noble raw material, MünzManufaktur has always produced cast and minted bars of exceptional quality.

 

Whereas we primarily work with LBMA-certified manufacturers for our minted bars—adding only the final embossing touches in-house—for our cast bars, we oversee the entire production process from raw material to finished, market-ready product.

Using a heat-resistant mold made of graphite, fine gold is melted and poured into the mold to cool. This mold imparts the cast bar with its distinctive embossing, which is incorporated directly into the casting. It includes details such as the manufacturer, fine weight and fineness, and the "Melter-Assayer" stamp.
